The Council lowered the garbage rate increase from 5% down to 3% while also adopting the city’s new budget and discussing first steps toward a new 20 year Community Vision.

The Council discussed results from the National Community Survey. An open burning program moved to the next stage of review, ownership of mid-block sidewalks became code, and the city will apply for a grant to help build a new trailhead on the Rickreall Creek Trail at Fir Villa Road.
