The Dallas Signal is your simplified guide to the City Council of Dallas, Oregon! This blog is designed to help you get informed and feel empowered to engage with your local government.

Every City Council meeting comes with an agenda packet. Sometimes the packets can be over 100 pages and feel overwhelming. So the goal is to make the information easier to access and understand.

What can you expect?

Before each meeting, you’ll get a Prep Post. It will simplify each item on the agenda into short summaries in an easy & accessible format. After each meeting, you will get a Wrap Up Post. It will give summaries of what happened & what the major discussions were about. Councilor meeting attendance & vote tallies will also be included in the wrap up, again all in an easy and accessible format.

Who is The Dallas Signal?

Hi, I’m your neighbor, Trevor! I moved to Dallas in 2022, and I’ve lived in West Salem previously for almost 10 years. I also have a bachelors degree from Portland State University in political science.
