The Council considers Republic Services’ garbage rate increase, longer parking times on part of Washington St., reserving a new park shelter, and creating a new “Indoor Recreation” land use category.

The Council approved pickleball and basketball courts, a hold on the stormwater fee, a decrease to the sewer rate, and an increase to the water rate. Plus, Councilor Fitzgerald was unsuccessful in having the Council’s Jan. 5th Police building vote changed.

A stormwater fee hold, sewer rate decrease, and water rate increase are all on the agenda for City Council. Plus an updated alternate plan for pickleball courts in City Park.

A majority of the Council votes to proceed with the newest Police building option, #5. Next steps include more research and analysis on this option.

A new 5th option joins the Police building choices for the Council to consider. Plus, an agreement with Falls City, policy updates, appointments, and a Water Master Plan update will come before the Council.
